GLISA, the Graduate Library and Information Studies Association, is a student chapter of the American Library Association, hosted at Texas Woman's University. The purpose of GLISA is to provide support to graduate students pursuing library and information studies degrees, and to help prepare students for a future in the library profession.

MLS grant money available to TWU students
TWU's SLIS department has tuition funds available for eligible current or potential students. Funds are from the Professional Education for Libraries in Small Communities (PELSC) grant.
